Ephedrine Side EffectsEphedrine Side EffectsIf you’re considering taking Ephedrine HCL, you may be curious about what side effects you should be expecting. Many people do consider adding this supplement to their diet, but often they have heard of some rather serious side effects occurring and therefore are somewhat tentative about their decision. The first thing to know is that if you are using Ephedrine HCL properly, generally the side effects tend to be rather mild and often there are no side effects at all apart from the specific benefits you’re after. If you overdose on it, or use a rather high dosage right from the start, then you are more likely to see the negative side effects occurring. Likewise, if you are someone who is at risk of certain health conditions, there too you may be more likely to see the Ephedrine HCL side effects happening. Let’s take a look at what you need to know. Increased Heart Rate The first side effect of Ephedrine HCL that some people will experience is an increased heart rate. Since this essentially is a nervous system stimulator, it’s not abnormal at all to find this occurring. Your heart rate will go up along with all the other processes in the body, which is partly the reason why you experience the boost to your metabolic rate as well. If you currently have high blood pressure or issues with your heart rate, you will want to be extra cautious when using Ephedrine HCL. Feeling Dizzy Second, another side effect of Ephedrine HCL use is feeling dizzy. Some people find that when they are on it their head feels like it’s ‘racing’ and this creates a rather dizzy feeling as well. If you are experiencing this, be sure to sit down immediately. You may want to consider a lower dose next time. Difficulty Sleeping Third, if you take Ephedrine HCL too close to bed time, you can likely expect to have some difficulty getting to sleep. Since it does provide that large energy boost to most people, trying to go to bed after taking it isn’t going to fare so well. Always be sure to take your dose of Ephedrine HCL about 6-8 hours prior to going to bed to prevent this from happening. Light Headedness Finally, the last drawback to Ephedrine HCL is that it may also cause light headedness. Those who experience low blood pressure will often notice this more than others, so assess your individual case to see if this could perhaps be a concern for you. If you are noticing it happening on a very frequent basis then you’re going to want to either use a lower dose or stop altogether. So be sure that you’re keeping these Ephedrine HCL side effects in mind. If you use it properly you shouldn’t notice these occurring but if you don’t then the chances are much more likely.
